We mix new work with old uploads worth finding again. “Old-school” is a spirit, not a cutoff date: personal, specific, and comfortable taking its time.
How a video gets picked
A lightweight screening tool looks for common packaging patterns and helps our editors find promising candidates. It never publishes anything. Every video on Videovella is reviewed by a person, and the note beside it is written or approved by an editor.
The screening number stays backstage. Videovella isn’t trying to replace one algorithm with another, rank creators, or declare one kind of video objectively better.
A note about YouTube
Videovella is an independent discovery guide. Video titles, thumbnails, channel names, and public statistics come from YouTube and are kept current. Watching a selection takes you to its canonical YouTube page. Videovella does not store viewing histories or build personal profiles.
